I have a free minute so I just wanted to update.  There isn't much to say.  I have been writing a lot.....actually a ton and I have have definately grown in my songwriting.  I'm excited for everyone to hear the new songs.  They have great stories behind them.  Its nice because I hadn't really played guitar for pleasure in a while but since I have been a little sick and had some time on my hands I have picked it up again.

Besides being physically sick, I am sick of life patterns and I have recently changed many of mine and its working out so much better.  I have been getting to be really early, at least by 10:30 and have switched my devotional time to the morning.  That is just one example and there are many more.  I am starting to get in better shape too.

Its funny that sometimes the things you want the most are so empty.  I am trying to do better things now and spend, time, money, passions etc. wisely.  I feel like I'm growing up, and this time it doesn't feel weird.  I'm not trying to stop it either.

I am going to be having a CD copied, and getting shirts and stickers and whatnot so that is exciting too.  Its just something I finally need to finish.  I feel like I'm getting back on track in a way, which feels good.

Another change is that I am going to be taking Fridays totally off and instead I will probably teach some guitar lessons on Saturday.  It would just be a good step in giving me more free time.  As is stands now I have 4 days where I have 11.5 hour days.  That would give me all Friday off and I would be able to make up for it by teaching a few lessons on Saturday morning which I have already been asked to do.

Amy's retreat was amazing and I love leading worship for Kid's.  I have a couple of more opportunities for that coming up and I'm thankful.

I feel really good about these things.  My dad has been coming to the gym with me so that is awesome too.  I hope everyone is doing well.

xanga is wierd....everyone just talks about themself.   You can call me if you really want to talk.

I just wanted to update because I'm in Charleston, S.C. right now and I had to use the A/C in the car today.  I was super pumped.  Its been nice here, and its been nice getting to have a bit of vacation.  Tomorrow we are heading to ATL to hang out with my boys Usher, Luda, and Lil John.  Other than vacation, Christmas was awesome.  I feel like I had so much to write here but its midnight and I can't think of anything.  I almost have my free ipod so if you want one go here.  It worked for Danner....

Maybe I'll try to update more tomorrow morning.

p.s.  I ate a ton of shrimp tonight and it was awesome!!!

Currently Listening
Here I Am To Worship
May the Words of My Mouth
see related

First let me say that I have no clue why I'm awake at 1:49 on a Friday morning, but I haven't been sleeping well lately.  Plus Kate said I needed to update and there was a lot of truth in her words...so here we go:

I never thought my life would come down to calendars and check-lists but it has happened.  Things have been so busy recently, I just can’t keep everything straight in my head.   I’ve been playing for worship at Grace which has been amazing and have had the opportunity to be a part of worship in many places recently.  Along with way more playing comes way more tutoring.  Busy sums up my life.  Its funny because in college I would always tell people, and I truely thought, that I was so busy and back then I probably spent over 8 hours a day just hanging out and listening to music.  The definition of busy has changed.  It will be nice to have a break soon.

This weekend will be extremely crazy.  Longing for Last Year is playing at On Stage on Friday, then Baltimore on Saturday, then back to Annville.  Next week should be pretty nice, and a bit more relaxing.  I’ll be playing Saturday night at Street Light Christian Fellowship and Sunday morning at Grace.

On a final note, I never thought these things worked but Dan R. got a free ipod so I signed up for the thing. If you want to get one sign up here.  If you sign up and then five other people sign up you get an IPod.  There are a bunch of offers and it worked out well for me because I transferred my credit card to a “no interest for a year” card which is really nice.  So check it out and maybe sign up for something.

I might try sleeping again.  I'll let you know how it goes.

Just a quick update....well maybe not quick but I kinda always say quick....The week at camp was amazing like it always is....I love being able to be a part of it.  Last weekend in annville was awesome....Dave and I got a chance to play a set at a coffee house on the west shore of Harrisburg.....I think it was called Cornerstone...It was Mike's friend Sarah's show but she was feeling a little sick so we were able to play....here is a photograph...

The past couple of days have been amazing...actually the entire last 10 days....this summer has been super high on the amazing times list....I'm itching to play again....it kinda got me going last Saturday...The rest of the week is the Willow Creek Leadership Conference...which should be really cool.  Anway I have a bunch of videos to work on so I should get going....
